Medicare Advantage Plans

A Medicare Advantage (Part C) plan combines Original Medicare Part A (hospital insurance) and Part B (medical insurance) in one plan. It usually includes prescription drug coverage and may offer additional benefits such as dental, vision and fitness, often at no additional premium charge. Medicare Advantage drives down out-of-pocket health care costs for beneficiaries.

How Medicare works

Medicare Part A

Medicare Part A is inpatient hospital coverage.

Medicare Part B is outpatient medical insurance coverage.

Medicare Part C

Medicare Part C is a (Medicare advantage plan) it is managed by private companies and federally approved by Medicare also known as cms. 
It includes parts A, B and sometimes part D all together. To offer a more comprehensive coverage

Medicare Part D plans provide beneficiaries with federally approved prescription drug coverage. 

  • Provides lower cost for prescription drugs and lower cost-sharing for in-network or preferred pharmacies.
